Located in the Bahia region of Brazil, AMMA Chocolate is a "tree-to-bar" cacao grower and chocolate maker. Diego Badaró is a fifth-generation cacao (or cacau as it's spelled in Brazil) farmer who has brought organic farming techniques to his trade. Badaró's cacao trees grow in the shade of the Mata Atlantica coastal rainforest.
Come try some of this wonderful "tree-to-bar" chocolate! We will be sampling seven different bars and AMMA's cocoa nibs, including his Gulah Merah bar (made with coconut blossom sugar instead of cane sugar) and the experimental Theobroma Grandiflorum Cupauca bar (made from a close cousin of our favourite Theobroma cacao).
